Happily Homeschooling

Recently, Apologia had an "open house party" on Facebook that was wonderful! They had a contest giving away a Who Is God? book from their "What We Believe" curriculum series. I was blessed to have reviewed this book in March that you can read here.

So, in light of that, I am offering a giveaway for the book I won and would like to bless one of you with it. And Apologia has been so gracious that they offered to mail it out directly from them.

I have loved Apologia since my very first exposure to them while a member of the Maiden Voyage of the TOS Crew. At that time I reviewed their Exploring Creation with Biology book and Zoology I book. We have used Apologia's science curriculum since and can't imagine using anything different!

To enter this contest, leave me a comment about your favorite Apologia book or how Who Is God will benefit you and your family. You can get extra entries by any one of the following ways (just leave a comment for each entry):

1) Google Friend Me
2) Follow Me on Networked Blogs
3) "Like" my website
4) Follow Me on Twitter
5) Subscribe via RSS Feed
6) Spread the word about the contest
The contest will run until July 4th, 2011. On that day, I will use the True Random Number Generator to choose the winner and post here. The winner will have 36hrs. to contact me with mailing info.

I look forward to reading everyone's comments about Apologia. If you haven't used Apologia before, I encourage you to. You will not be disappointed!

I have used the Botany book, the Astronomy book, and the Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day book. My favorite is Astronomy. I got Physical Science for my son for this school year. I would love to get the "Who is God?" book for my family. I trust Apologia's interpretation of Scripture implicitly and know it would benefit my kids to learn from this resource.

I think our home is home to most of the Apologia textbooks. Our oldest daughter asked for the Human Anatomy book for her 16th birthday and our second daughter read the Astronomy book so many times. After her third time through it I had to make her put it down to do her other subjects.

I have had my eye on this book! I lovingly gazed at it at the homeschool convention but it wasn't in the budget :( I know my kids and I could really benefit from the biblical worldview that it teaches. I loved how colorful and inviting it was as well!

We are just beginning our homeschool journey with a soon-to-be 1st grader and PreK-er and also with two other little people. After researching curriculum options, I have chosen Apologia both for science and as part of our Bible/Character training. We feel they align closely with our values and beliefs. We are so excited to begin our journey!

I can't imagine home schooling without the Apologia books. We've used the science curriculum. But, more vital, is the ability to defend one's faith. We would like to study, "Who is God?" to help us do that!

We just recently purchased Exploring Creation with Astronomy and are so excited to teach/study this subject from a Christian perspective highlighting the awesome creation of God.

Also, "Who Is God" is on one of my online wishlists for future purchase so that would be really awesome.
